The Board has adopted the following policy concerning the version of Maine Rules on which applicants will be tested at each exam:
At each administration of the Maine Bar Examination, pursuant to M.Bar Adm.R. 10(d)(1), the Maine Board of Bar Examiners will test only the applicant's knowledge of the Maine Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure, the Maine Rules of Appellate Procedure, the Maine Rules of Evidence and the Maine Code of Professional Responsibility including any amendments thereto adopted on or before November 1 of the year preceding the examination.
For example, for examinations administered in February and July of 2004, applicants will be responsible for any amendments to applicable Rules adopted through November 1, 2003 only.
Adopted: September 25, 2003
